Description
In a letter by a daughter of John B. Minor to an unidentified aunt, the writer describes the United States Army's occupation of Charlottesville and how "All the horses from Little Run are gone & two of the men. Armistead & Milly's son - Humphrey was taken but begged so hard to be allowed to come back to his "old miss" that they agreed & he arrived today." This letter, dated March 8, 1865, is in the Minor and Wilson Family Papers.
